ABOUT AMAYA
BIOGRAPHY
Amaya is a young photographer based in Flagstaff, Arizona. She believes art is a form of expression that requires no words. Her inspiration comes from seeing the beauty through her struggles as an anxious black/brown woman. Her favorite forms of photography are photojournalism, street, and portraiture. All of her work focuses on women empowerment and shining a light on underrepresented groups. She hopes her work will spark change in viewers and create a positive impact on the world.

When she is not taking photos, Amaya is probably running, listening to vinyl or hanging with friends.
